How we prove it
Every device leaves with a passport.
Each project runs on gLodRa Cx, the commissioning platform we built and operate. Every visit, test, measurement, witness and decision is stored against the device and the place. At turnover the owner gets the record, not a binder of statements.
Construction loses time to missing information. Commissioning shouldn't add to it.
- of field time goes to looking for information, resolving disputes and fixing mistakes
- 35%
- of rework comes from wrong or missing information and poor communication
- 48%
- of field teams always have the information they need on what to build and where
- 11%

One device, eight steps on the record
Acceptance is not a statement, it is a witnessed functional test. Select a step to see what the record holds for a sample air handling unit.
The same record, a different screen for each party
Screens from Aurora Bay, a fictional sample project. Real projects are private and each runs on its own database.
Contractors perform. We verify.
We don't balance, install or test our own work. Keeping the roles apart is what makes the verification worth something to the owner.
| Work | Performed by | Our role |
|---|---|---|
| Testing, adjusting and balancing | AABC or NEBB certified TAB agency | Review the report, spot-check readings in the field |
| Equipment startup | Contractor and manufacturer | Verify checklists and startup records |
| Functional tests | Contractor, to our approved procedure | Write the procedure, witness, decide |
| Enclosure testing | Certified testing agency | Plan, witness and document |
| Reports needing a PE seal | Partner licensed engineer | Provide the test record behind the seal |
The project ends. The record doesn't.
The usual turnover
- Cx reports sit in folders as PDFs
- Decisions live in people's memory
- Which device passed which test is unclear
- Operations learns the building from scratch
Turnover on the record
- Every device's location, test and decision in one place
- Who decided, and when, is written down
- Every Cx issue tracked by number to closure
- Operations starts day one with a current device list
See it on a real-format project.
